Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how Veteran Built Software LLC ("Company," "we," "our") handles information when you visit the reconplatform.app website ("the Site"). It covers the Site only. Each Recon Platform product application — the Report Apps, Field Companion apps, ReconCRM, and ReconInspect — publishes its own privacy policy covering the data you provide inside that product.
2. Information We Collect
The Site has no account system, no checkout, and no contact forms, and it asks you for nothing. The only information processed when you visit is standard web server log data generated automatically by our hosting infrastructure: IP address, browser type and version, device type, the pages requested, referring URL, and request timestamps.
3. How We Use That Information
Server log data is used solely to operate, secure, and debug the Site — for example, to diagnose errors, detect abuse, and measure aggregate page load. We do not use Site log data for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.
4. Cookies and Tracking
The Site sets no first-party tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies, and uses no fingerprinting or cross-site tracking. Individual product applications use session cookies for authentication, as described in each product's own privacy policy.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
The Company uses the following third-party providers to operate the Site:
- Railway — application hosting (railway.com/legal/privacy). Server logs are generated and stored on Railway infrastructure.
- Google Fonts — typeface delivery (policies.google.com/privacy). Your browser requests font files from Google's servers, which discloses your IP address and browser metadata to Google.
Each provider's own privacy policy governs its handling of that data.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We disclose Site log data only to the hosting providers listed above as necessary to operate the Site, or where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the Company or others.
7. Data Retention
Server logs are retained for a limited operational window consistent with our hosting provider's log retention, and are not archived long-term by the Company.
8. Your Rights
You may contact us to ask what data we hold about your visits to the Site, or to request correction or deletion, at privacy@veteranbuiltsoftware.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are a resident of a jurisdiction with specific data rights (including California CCPA or EU GDPR), contact us at the same address to exercise those rights. Requests concerning data held inside a Recon Platform product should be directed through that product's privacy policy contact.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. The current version, with its effective date, will always be posted at this address.
