1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the reconplatform.app website ("the Site"), operated by Veteran Built Software LLC ("Company," "we," "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Site.
2. What This Site Is
The Site is an informational hub describing the Recon Platform family of software products for contractors and the trades, including the Report Apps, Field Companion apps, ReconCRM, and ReconInspect. The Site itself requires no account, collects no form submissions, and sells nothing directly. Links on the Site lead to individual product applications, each of which is operated by the Company under its own terms.
3. Relationship to Product Terms
Each Recon Platform product presents its own Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and, where applicable, Refund Policy within that product. Your use of any individual product is governed by that product's terms, which you accept when you register for or use that product. If these Terms conflict with a product's terms with respect to that product, the product's terms control.
4. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, product names, wordmarks, screenshots, and software — are the property of the Company and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. "Recon Platform," the individual product names, and the associated marks may not be used without the Company's prior written permission. You may view and link to the Site for lawful, non-commercial reference.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not: (a) use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or bulk-download Site content except as permitted by the Site's robots.txt; (b) attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its infrastructure; (c) misrepresent your affiliation with the Company; or (d) use the Site in any manner that violates applicable law.
6. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites and services. The Company does not control and is not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites. Linking does not imply endorsement.
7. No Professional Advice
Content on the Site is general product information. It is not engineering, construction, insurance, legal, or financial advice. Measurements, reports, and estimates produced by Recon Platform products are governed by the terms of the product that produced them, and must be verified by a qualified professional before being relied on for any contractual, structural, or safety-related decision.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The Company does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free or that its content is complete or current.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. The Site is a free informational resource; the Company's total liability for any claim arising from the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to the Company to access it.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. You consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
11. Changes to Terms
The Company may update these Terms at any time. The current version, with its effective date, will always be posted at this address. Continued use of the Site after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
